I’m Shawn Taylor. I’ve been a full-time wedding photographer since 2005, with over 800 weddings and 20 years behind the lens.

I’m a Niagara College Journalism grad (President’s Honour Roll) and a former newspaper editor. I don’t "stage" your day or turn it into a production. I use my experience to read a room, stay composed under pressure, and capture the moments that actually matter – before they happen.

I am Nationally Accredited by the Professional Photographers of Canada (PPOC) in Environmental Wedding Photography. This means I have the verified technical skill to handle the rugged Newfoundland environment, regardless of the light or the weather.

Whether it’s an offshore wedding on Fogo Island or a milestone event at The Beaumont, my approach is the same: Clean, classic, candid documentation and epic coastal portraits. No trendy filters, no drama, and no nonsense.
