I’m Shawn Taylor - a former newspaper photographer and Journalism grad with over 700 weddings behind the lens. I’ve shot across the country, but now I call Newfoundland home.
I don’t just take photos. I tell stories - with light, timing, understanding and trust.
My approach is calm, professional, and easygoing. I know how to read a room, work with real people, and capture the moments that matter without making it feel like a production.
Whether it's a wedding, a portrait session, or a branding shoot, I aim for photos that feel honest and timeless - not trendy or over-edited.
I meet with every couple or client before the shoot so we’re on the same page. No pressure, no awkward poses, just real conversations and clear communication. That’s how great photos happen.
If you’re someone who hates being in front of a camera - I want to work with you most of all. It’s my job to make sure you feel confident and seen. You don’t have to “know what to do.” I’ve got you.
