Whether it’s a quiet ceremony in Marystown, an elopement in Port Rexton, or a celebration in the heart of Terra Nova, I’m right at home. My focus is weddings along the so called "Legendary Coasts of Eastern Newfoundland" - the  'Peninsula to Peninsula' corridor - basically the Burin and Bonavista regions and everywhere in between.

I’m Shawn Taylor. I’ve been a full-time wedding photographer since 2005, with over 800 weddings and 22 years behind the lens. These days, my goal is simple: epic coastal photos.  I work with 10 couples a year to ensure every project gets my full attention.

When you book me, you get the peace of mind that comes with two decades of experience. I’m a Journalism grad and a former newspaper editor, which means I don’t "stage" your day or turn it into a production. I use experience to read the moment, stay cool under pressure, and anticipate and capture the moments that matter.

I am Nationally Accredited by the Professional Photographers of Canada (PPOC) in Environmental Wedding Photography. This means I have the proven technical skill to handle the unpredictable Newfoundland environment. Regardless of the light or the weather, you get clean, classic, candid documentation and epic coastal portraits.
