I’m Shawn Taylor - a former newspaper photographer and Journalism grad with over 20 years and 800+ weddings behind the lens. I’ve shot across the country, but now call Clarenville, Newfoundland home.

I don’t just take photos. I tell stories - with light, timing, understanding and trust.

My approach is calm, professional, and easygoing. I know how to read a room, work with real people, and capture the moments that matter without making it feel like a production.

Whether it's a wedding, a portrait session, or a branding shoot, I aim for photos that feel honest and timeless - not trendy or over-edited.

I don’t limit my time on a wedding day - every couple’s story is unique. Whether it takes 6, 8, or 10 hours, my focus is on creating the best plan for your day - not watching the clock.

My creative fee isn’t just for the wedding day - it reflects decades of experience, countless behind-the-scenes hours, and a commitment to storytelling through artistry and intention.

Over the years I’ve learned the magic isn’t measured in hours - it’s found in split-second moments, the decisions that turn fleeting emotion into unforgettable images.

Most couples receive 600–800 images, but numbers don’t define my work. What matters is how those moments are captured - how they tell the story of your celebration in a way that feels true to you.
